Nobody has to ask twice.
Give every family one place that answers all the questions — with your name on it.
Your phone stops ringing with the same question.
The venue, the time, the directions, the banking details. Those are the calls your office takes forty times a week, and every one of them is already answered in the service.
You don’t need to be good with computers.
If you can fill in a form, you can create a service. And for as long as you’d like, you don’t have to — send us the details and we’ll capture it for you.
It’s yours to sell.
You decide what it’s worth to your families and what you charge for it. The difference is yours.
Everyone at the funeral sees it.
Two hundred people, each one opening something you arranged, with your parlour’s name on it. Very little else you buy this year will be seen by that many people.
What you’ll find when you open it
The photos
Pictures of the person, kept in one place.
The obituary
Their life, written by the people who knew them.
Time and venue
When the service starts and which church.
The cemetery
Where the burial is, and how to get there.
Order of service
What happens, in order.
Contributions
How to help the family, if you’d like to.
Tributes
Somewhere to say something, from wherever you are.
Who’s coming
The people who have said they’ll be there.
What funeral directors ask us
Will this be difficult to use?
If you can fill in a form, you can create a service. And you don’t have to start there — send us the details and we’ll do the first few for you.
Will my customers understand it?
They get six digits. They type them in, or they scan the square. That’s the whole instruction, and it fits on the back of a programme.
Do I need another system?
No. Nothing to install, nothing to connect to your records, nothing running in the background. You open it when there’s a funeral and close it when you’re done.
What happens if I make a mistake?
You fix it. A service stays a draft until you publish it, and you can correct it or take it down afterwards. Nothing is printed. Nothing is permanent unless you want it to be.
Who helps me create the service?
We do, for as long as you want us to. Most partners send us the details at first and start doing their own once they’ve watched a few get made.
The brief calls for “the remaining four questions” on this page. Only five were ever supplied (above). Four more belong here once written.
